Vaishnavi Sharma became only the second Indian woman to claim four wickets in four consecutive balls in a T20 match. Humaira Kazi achieved this feat for Mumbai against Saurashtra in 2022. Sharma finished with figures of 6/22, helping Madhya Pradesh restrict Andhra Pradesh to 129/8 in their 20 overs.

The left-arm spinner was introduced into the attack in the 5th over and picked up two wickets for 16 runs across her first three overs. Returning for the penultimate over, she was hit for six runs in the first two deliveries before taking a hat-trick and the fourth wicket on the final ball of the over.

Anushka Sharma stole the show with an 81-run knock.

Vaishnavi Narendra Sharma is an Indian international cricketer who plays for the India women's national team as a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. She was part of the squad that won the 2025 U19 T20 World Cup and was the leading wicket-taker of the tournament.
