The facility is managed by the Sports Authority of Telangana State and houses the Telangana State Tennis Association.

## Minister backs state’s sporting potential

Srihari expressed confidence in Telangana’s potential to develop as a sporting destination, highlighting the Khelo India initiative and the state government’s efforts to enhance sports infrastructure.

He said, "Khelo India has been given to Telangana; CM Revanth Reddy was adamant before PM Modi that we too can have a sports infrastructure, and now this has been given to us. "

## Broader infrastructure push

The inauguration aligns with Telangana’s government focus on developing the state as an education and sports hub. ## What happens next

The upgraded tennis facility adds to Telangana’s sports infrastructure, providing athletes with enhanced training and competition venues. The Tennis Premier League season eight starts at the complex on December 8 and runs until December 13.
