## Article

Manchester United will host Aston Villa at Old Trafford Stadium in Greater Manchester in a Premier League fixture. Khel Now published the confirmed starting lineups, while Sportstar provided broadcast details for India and the United Kingdom.

Confirmed starting lineups

Khel Now listed Manchester United's starting XI as Lammens in goal, with Mazraoui, Yoro, Maguire and Dalot in defence. Tielemans, Mainoo, Diallo, Fernandes, Cunha and Mbeumo complete the side. Aston Villa's lineup features Suzuki in goal, backed by Lindelof, Harwoood-Bellis, Torres and Maatsen. Kamara, Goretzka, Alysson, McGinn, Manzambi and Jackson start in midfield and attack.

Why it matters

Sportstar reported that Michael Carrick takes charge for what could be the last time as he battles to save his job despite a morale-boosting midweek Champions League victory over Roma.

The report said United could be bottom of the Premier League when kickoff begins if results go against them.

Sportstar also reported that Unai Emery was tipped as a potential candidate for the Old Trafford hot seat but is close to signing a new deal with Aston Villa.

What happens next

Sportstar said the international break will give United's hierarchy an opportunity to consider their long-term options.

Manchester United compete in the Premier League, the top tier of English football, and are among the most successful clubs in England, having won a joint-record twenty top-flight league titles, thirteen FA Cups, six League Cups and a record twenty-one FA Community Shields.

Internationally, they have won the European Cup and UEFA Champions League three times, as well as the UEFA Europa League, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup and FIFA Club World Cup once each.
