The second-seeded Indian pair won 11-6, lost 8-11, then took the third 11-7 and fourth 11-8 in a 32-minute match, finishing with 41 points against their opponents’ 32.

Thakkar and Taneesha Kotecha completed the sweep by winning the mixed doubles title 3-2 against qualifiers Mehan Senthil and Ananya Muralidharan. The top-seeded pair lost the first game 15-17 before winning 11-6, losing 7-11, edging 12-10 and closing out 11-6 in a 46-minute final.

India claimed three titles at the WTT Feeder Chennai 2026. Sutirtha Mukherjee finished runner-up in the women’s singles after losing 0-3 to Korea’s Yoo Yerin.

The second seed and wildcard entrant dominated the contest, winning 11-6, 11-7, 11-9 in a 26-minute final to claim her maiden international singles title. Mukherjee, seeded fifth, had upset top seed Yang Ha-eun in the semifinals but struggled against Yerin’s consistency and control.

Walker had dropped just two games en route to the final and was exceptional with his attacks from the back of the table on both flanks.
