Harry Kane missed a penalty as injury-hit Bayern Munich were held to a 2-2 draw by Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

Konrad Laimer gave Bayern a 38th-minute lead moments after Jobe Bellingham had a goal ruled out for Dortmund. On the hour mark Kane was handed a chance to cap an historic week when he won a spot-kick, but he missed it and Serhou Guirassy promptly levelled.

Dayot Upamecano soon restored Bayern's advantage as Kane made amends for his inaccuracy from 12 yards with an assist.
